Four Priorities, One Healthier Arizona
We make our state’s greatest health challenges our priority. The Foundation partners with changemakers to improve mental health, chronic
conditions, health equity, and overcome substance use disorder.
Strengthening Minds and Saving Lives
Our state ranks 49th in access to mental healthcare. We’re working to increase access, build resiliency, and even save lives.
The AZ Blue Foundation invested $5 million in mental health over the last three years. In 2024, we helped provide more than 90,000 behavioral health services.
Why It Matters
Now more than ever, mental health matters. As the need for support continues to grow, we are stepping up to fill in service gaps and help Arizonans put their mental well-being first.
- More than 35% of Arizona adults have reported symptoms of anxiety or depression
- 40% of Arizona teens report poor mental health
- Suicide is the 9th leading cause of death in Arizona
