The Foundation’s Community Collective series of webinars launched in August of 2022. More than 450 attendees – including grantees, community partners, and public health and community leaders – have gathered to learn, share, network, and rally support around crucial health issues in our state. This year, we have added a Day of Action following the webinar that gives us the opportunity to give back to our community.
Arizona’s Opioid Epidemic: Best Practices in Education, Prevention, and Treatment
Arizona, like much of the United States, is still struggling with the opioid epidemic. Despite efforts, about five people die every day in Arizona from opioid and other drug effects.
Dr. Daniel E. Brooks, medical toxicologist, will discuss the impact of opioids and other drugs on Arizonans’ health and safety.
