Community Collective

Coming Together to Create a Healthier Arizona

The Foundation’s Community Collective series of webinars launched in August of 2022. More than 450 attendees – including grantees, community partners, and public health and community leaders – have gathered to learn, share, network, and rally support around crucial health issues in our state. This year, we have added a Day of Action following the webinar that gives us the opportunity to give back to our community.

Upcoming Webinar

Disordered Eating Across Ages and Genders

May 20th , 2025 10:00 AM

Stuart Kaplan, MD, MBA, FAAP
Medical Director, Eating Disorder Services, Meadows Behavioral Healthcare

Did you know that 9% of Arizonans will experience an eating disorder in their lifetime?
Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions that affect people of all ages and genders—and they can have serious physical health consequences, including increased risk for heart conditions and electrolyte imbalances. Early support can make a life-changing difference.

Join us during Mental Health Awareness Month for a free, live Community Collective webinar focused on understanding and addressing eating disorders across ages and genders.
This webinar will cover:

  • How disordered eating shows up across different stages of life
  • Common signs and symptoms to look for
  • Why care should be personalized for each person’s journey

Whether you’re supporting someone you care about or simply want to deepen your understanding,
this conversation will offer valuable insights and practical takeaways.
